Mesa Fresh players help USA Team capture the gold medal

Mesa Fresh 2015 and 2016 players were well represented in the exciting finish in Coluitlam, BC.  

Michael Sowers (Upper Dublin-Mesa Fresh 2016) had a goal and two assists, Dox Aitken (Haverford School-Mesa Fresh 2015 and 16) had one goal and one assist, Noah Lejman (Haverford School-Mesa Fresh 2015 was instrumental on defense helped US beat Canada in the Gold Medal game 13-12.

Mesa Fresh 2015 Lacrosse alumni Drew Supinski is a member of the 2016 USA team but was unable to play due to injury


The US – which has won all eight championships – rallied from deficits of 6-0, 8-2 and later 12-9, midway through the final period.
